Fertan UBS 240 Unterbody protection wax 5 L

Features:

Usage:

• Because of its special viscosity UBS 240 may be applied by means of an airless spray gun or by commonly-available proprietary guns.
• Even at a temperatures of over 30 deg C the product doesn’t drip.
• The ideal application temperature is around 20 deg. C. If the product is to be applied by means of a paintbrush, it is recommended to heat the can in a tub of warm water. Do not heat in an oven or other form of heating equipment.
• Applied in thin layers on painted surfaces, e.g painted underbodies, UBS 240 offers best protection.
• In the presence of corrosion use FERTAN rust converter first.
• Very useful after Fertan stone chip protection in thin film

Technical features:

• The product forms even in thin layers a perfect protection film which gives at painted or galvanized surfaces best possible appearance.
• On unprotected underbodies a first layer with resin-based Fertan stone-chip, is recommended.
• At overlaps or welded joints a first protection with PREWAX should be used.
• At low temperatures the product should be heated up to 25 deg C. in a tub of warm water.
• Do not heat on an oven or any other form of heating equipment please. In the way the creeping characteristic will be improved.
