- The area to be treated must be free of dirt, oil, grease and silicone ("metallic clean")
- Only with extremely strong layers of rust (up to 5 mm) a second treatment may be necessary!

Fertan "Rust Converter spezial":- "Fertan Rust Converter" dissolves the Fe³ layer, building up a new connection to the previously corroded surface in one single operation
- In addition FERTAN solves the existing layer of rust and decomposes it into an inert powder.
- The underlying, non-corrosive, Fe² - lyer is protected by the new metal compound
The final protection layer can be applied within 6 months to the previously corroded metal - This final protection layer can be paint, varnish, wax, zinc or resin for instance
- FERTAN can be successfully used on slightly rusty, heavy rusty or even bare metal,
while always keeping its protection effect!
Application:- Apply only at temperatures above 5° C, leaving it dry for about 24 - 48 hrs
- Before finishing always clean the surface with water
- FERTAN can be even used on damp surfaces
