Fluid Film Liquid AR 5 Liter

Product information "Fluid Film Liquid AR 5 Liter"

FLUID FILM Liquid AR 5 liter

FLUID FILM Liquid AR is a transparent, solvent-free physiologically harmless soft single-layer corrosion protection coating based on lanolin.

  • 5 liter
  • Viscosity: medium (e.g. like honey)
  • Creep ability: + + +
  • Protection time: approx. 15 years (in closed cavities)

Features

  • Solvent-free and physiologically harmless during processing, greater safety in operation.
  • Economical to use and uncomplicated to apply.
  • A layer thickness of between 200 - 800 μm can be applied in one operation (by airless spraying).
  • Can be sprayed with commercially available airless equipment (compressing over 22:1). Application is possible by brush, rollers or compressed air spraying (with pressure barrel). (see 9.)
  • Simplified method of application when spraying by means of lances, which in the majority of cases makes the erection of a scaffold unnecessary.
  • 1-component product with excellent adhesion even on damp surfaces and old coatings.
  • Excellent penetration of thick rust layers - intensive surface preparation is not necessary (penetrated rust layers can be removed from the substrate).
rust layers may fall off from the substrate after some time).
  • If FLUID FILM Liquid AR has been used as a rust remover, regular repair work or renewal coatings can be carried out immediately with FLUID FILM products only after all loose dirt has been removed.

Mode of operation:

  • FLUID FILM Liquid AR is a thixotropic product that reduces viscosity by stirring.
viscosity by stirring and facilitates transfer or filling into other containers.
into other containers. We recommend the use of mechanical
    stirring equipment.
  • The processing temperature for FLUID FILM Liquid AR is between
    -15°C (263 K) and 40°C (313 K). In order to achieve the required
pressure of 150 bar at the nozzle at low temperatures, we recommend preheating.
we recommend preheating the material to approx. 25°C.
  • During application, the film thickness must be continuously checked to avoid under- or overcoating.
or overcoating must be checked continuously.
d.When using the airless spraying method, areas which are difficult to access can be coated by means of lances.
be coated by means of lances.
  • The pneumatic spraying technique can only be used if
the material is transported to the nozzle under pressure, i.e. when using
of pressure vessels or combination units.
