The coating NSF saw blade:

An aluminum-titanium-chromium-nitride coating, for special applications in cutting material which tends to stick.

Because of the smooth CrN-surface, the tendency for cold welding can be reduced significantly. The silver colourd coating has a high hardness and high oxidation resistance.

This results in decisive advantages in machining of AI and non ferrous alloys.
